Multicultural Background
I believe that as an educator, the ideologies and practices I incorporate should be susceptible to change when needed, thus encouraging the role of a teacher as a learner alongside the students based on cultural responsiveness. Of these factors, special emphasis and delicacy should be incorporated into the integration towards the role of identity, awareness, and reciprocity amongst a classroom environment. To provide such an atmosphere is available only through the initiative of the teacher’s lesson plans, and classroom management.Though each factor is inherently exclusive to each student in practice, there are general goals to be pursued on the part of the teacher for each.
Best,
Ms. Noureen
